Il percorso, completamente chiuso al traffico, é veloce e prevalentemente pianeggiante anche se presenta alcuni piccoli strappi che lo rendono impegnativo.

La partenza é in leggera salita ma dopo circa un chilometro si svolta a destra per via stazione e si scende per poi riprendere via Nazionale dopo aver superato una piccola pendenza e corrispondente discesa di poche centinaia di metri. Al secondo giro invece alla fine di via Nazionale si svolta a sinistra con un giro davanti alla chiesa di Santa Maria Impesole per ricevere il caloroso sostenimento degli abitanti del quartiere per poi ritornare per via stazione come nel primo giro.  Arrivati in via Nazionale stavolta si svolta per via Terranzano e dopo aver percorso una piccola stradina immersa nel verde ed affrontato l'ultimo strappo finale si giunge all'arrivo.
